Students from ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ East High School recently showcased their talents at the SkillsUSA Regional Competition held at Suffolk Community College. Representing the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in cosmetology and carpentry, these dedicated students put their skills to the test against competitors from schools across Long Island.

The event provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their expertise in real-world applications of their trades. Cosmetology students exhibited their mastery in hairstyling, makeup and other beauty techniques, while carpentry students displayed their proficiency in construction, woodworking and precision craftsmanship.

SkillsUSA is a national organization dedicated to preparing students for careers in skilled trades, and competitions like these are crucial in helping students gain confidence, experience and recognition in their respective fields.

ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ East’s participation in this competition highlights the strength of its CTE programs and the hard work of both students and instructors. Congratulations to all who competed and represented ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ East with skill and professionalism!
